Presentations

My day to day life often includes giving a presentation, working on a presentation, or viewing presentations. Below you will find various presentations I have done.

I have spoken in front of hundreds of people when I was a 1,2,3 Magic! Presenter and Educator in South Africa.

Here is a quick YouTube video from 2017 that I did that explains the program:

I absolutely love presenting, and I was so happy I was able to do these presentations during the Pediasure Toddler Sense Seminars National Tour in 2011.

These next few presentations are presentations I completed at DePaul.

I really enjoyed creating this presentation for my Dynamic learning class! It's about being a Highly Sensitive Person and working in a collaborative environment.

Here we have a presentation that is about Group Dynamics and how to best structure work frames. My contribution to this effort is two fold, I am narrating the presentation and I did research for it.

This presentation was created for my Adolescent Psychology class in November, 2017. I loved this class! It was very interesting. This presentation is in regards to Adolescents and the rise of plastic surgery.

This presentation was quite depressing. We chose an article to discuss and created a presentation for our class. It is in regards to teen girls and domestic violence. It was quite shocking how often it turned extremely violent. This was created in August, 2018.

I loved doing this presentation for my Communication class. Again, as women continue to add more and more to their already full plates, opportunities to relax and de-stress are becoming less likely. Women, especially mothers, are using alcohol to de-stress and this is very evident in the media.

In August of 2019, I took Women's Health during the summer. It was unfortunate because it was a short course and there was so much to learn and study. I completed this presentation regarding Alcohol treatment and gender, and how treatments are gendered.

In my Health Communication Master's Program, I have studied much regarding women's health, especially modern day stress and coping skills. In the past 150 years, women have gained many rights to live the lives they want to live, however, we have to now consider how we are supporting women in these changing roles.

In this presentation, I discuss the division of Household Labor between a CIS-normative couple who "split" the household labor tasks. Spoiler alert: It is not equal.

This may be one of my most successful presentations to date. It was for my Social Media class, and I discuss relations online and if Online Social Supports are effective. I loved doing this presentation because I got to use both Power Point and a video software.

Here we have a brief Critical Analysis of Women's Health in the media with some great statistics.
